The Canadian Red Cross CPR/AED course provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking in adults, children, and babies. This includes training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and is suitable for workplace or general interest. It is delivered in accordance with the latest CPR guidelines.
This Level C course is 5 hours. 75% is the minimum passing grade on written exam.
No previous first aid training is required. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a certificate valid for three years.
Kitimat Valley institute is an authorized agency to deliver this training through the Canadian Red Cross.
